Companies come and go; some leave a lasting impression, either good or bad, but Land & Brand New Homes, headed by Bob and Heather Hilder hope to inject personality, energy and enthusiasm into their services to you.

Whether progressing a small or large land deal, or marketing a relatively small development to multi-plot, multi-house type ‘estates’, we hope our service standards leave you convinced that the smallest detail can make the difference.

Historically, there have been many ups and downs; increasing interest rates, changes in planning laws, movers and shakers within our development clients staffing levels, General Elections, but of one thing you can be assured – our commitment to getting the deal done is paramount.

From a tiny one-man band to a multi-skilled, multi-talented team of over 22 staff, RWHilder & Co Limited are now poised to exceed established standards of excellence – in fact, to set new standards.

Our Vision

RWHilder & Co Limited does not believe in spending time looking backwards – that is time we spend better moving forward – looking at new ideas, new concepts, new strategies, new services, new levels of participation with our clients in meeting targets of land buying/selling, and new homes selling.

Progress comes from doing, not knowing – and whilst we admit we’ve made a few mistakes along the way, what we now have to offer is a first class land and new homes service, which we know our competitors find hard to match!

We win, because we dare to lose and not only do we hate to lose, but we are not afraid to lose because we always turn these moments into learning opportunities!

How many times have we been told that we’d never gain new homes sales because we didn’t have a high street presence?  Result: create a programme of affiliate estate agents with whom we could work with shared objectives.

We believe in acting positively and expecting things to turn out well because then we’re almost half way there to a positive result! 

How many times have we been told we’d never get a site through to exchange, when by sheer dogged determination, speaking to the right people, pressing for a positive outcome, did we prove our doubters wrong?

Our Mission

So if a small one man band and his wife, over 15 years can create a powerful land and new homes team of 22, create a multi-million pound business on the back of sheer self belief and dogged determination, then why wouldn’t you trust us to source land and manage your new homes sales. 

Winning business has always been high on our agenda – and we’re not afraid of competing in this increasingly competitive market.

Our main goal is to cement our position as a leading land and new homes agency, without falling into the trap of chasing turnover to the detriment of our client service or our staff – in fact without either, we wouldn’t have a business.  Land & Brand New Homes is very much a team effort, where everyone’s input is welcomed and indeed sought.

Our business philosophy can be summed up as follows:

  1. Do exceptional work – this is the best way of getting business!
  2. Anticipate – look forward and ensure that business generation is geared to future client needs – reaction is not a viable alternative!
  3. Benefit by association – delight existing clients and the word gets around!
  4. Sell softly – we will reap business benefits by selling benefits of our products and services, our clients’ products and services – forget the hard sell!
  5. Recognise where we can add value – marketing, direct marketing, advice and shared learning experiences engenders credibility – make use of us wisely!
  6. Deliver with passion – no one can accuse us of not being passionate about our company, our services and our commitment to getting things done right.  And yet, we still have that little bit of je ne sais quoi (=entrepreneurship) that sets us apart and we don’t intend to lose it!
  7. Patience is a virtue – quick wins don’t often win any favour – client relationships are all important and if at first we don’t succeed we’ll try and try again!
  8. DO NOT OVERSELL – if we can’t deliver, we’ll tell you – honesty is the best policy and we believe in developing our relationship with integrity!
  9. Our policy of feedback and learning together, is sure to put us in a strong position to develop successfully as a team, as long as we’re aware of your business objectives and long term strategies!
  10. Negotiation and compromise – when we win a new client, we need to engage all stakeholders we’ll be dealing with, to ensure full understanding of achieving a win-win situation for all!
