- Site area: circa 5 acres, previously zoned for commercial use which led to discussions with Lewes District Council
- Marketing commenced in 2007. Due to unfavourable market conditions at that time, it was decided to withdraw the site from sale and allow for recovery in land values. Remarketing began in 2010, by which time the market had seen signs of recovery and interest in the site began to materialise
- Planning Application lodged in 2013
- Committee voted unanimously in favour of the application in January 2014
- Sold to Thakeham Homes in October 2011
- New homes released in June 2015, 36 of them being private dwellings and 12 affordable units
