Current & Past Projects in East Sussex

East Sussex County Council

We were first approached by East Sussex County Council in March 2013 to tender for the disposal of a 3 acre site in Peacehaven, next to the Bovis Meridian End sites that we had successfully transacted on in 2011.

Lindfield, East Sussex

We initially identified the site which was originally allocated for a school and having negotiated with the vendors for some 12 months, the option was exchanged in the late 90’s. The site, although greenfield is very sustainable and is set 400 metres from the High Street.

Peacehaven Sports Park

The site was allocated in 2004 for circa 350 units. The site was split between Keymer Avenue and Seaview Avenue, encompassing the Peacehaven sports centre. The design brief for the allocated site, adopted in February 2004, made it a requirement that the development did not exceed two storeys in height.

Wivelsfield Green, East Sussex

Acting in association with Gleeson.

Prior to 1963 the site was used in association with the former Allwood Nurseries. For 50 years the site was used for rough grazing.  An Option agreed in the mid 1990s saw the site submitted in October 2013, refused in January 2014, appealed, with planning gained for up to 75 two, three and four bedroom dwellings to include 30% affordable housing.

The development by Cala Homes is now Charters Gate - a mix of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom homes.
